The eCard Studio is brought to you by Out There Design, a graphics design house of 14 years and specialise in creative digital media, applied to all aspects of Internet marketing such as website design, company ID and image branding , conceptual art and illustration for business e cards and e books.
The creative process Our eCards are developed using a variety of mediums, with a design concept pondered over a cup of tea (or two), with an exchange of ideas and criticism. Most designs begin as original pencil drawings, drafted on paper before they are transferred onto the computer to complete, using state of the art digital design tools. Other designs begin on the computer; it depends on the creative process of the individual artist/ designer. Sometimes eCards are ‘colabs’ or worked on by two artists.
All the designs are original and copyright to the artists and designers that make up the Out There Design/ eCard Studio team. There are cards to suit a variety of occasions, everything from everyday messages & greetings to touch base and reconnect with the people we share our lives with at work and at play, important celebration greetings: birthdays and anniversaries to (more recently) communications within and between businesses.
We recognised the potential for eCards as a marketing tool and began offering them to our Out There Design clients as part of a complete on-line marketing web package, in doing so we noticed a hole in the market for really nice, high quality e Cards for both business and personal use and so developed eCard- Studio.
Very few eCard companies have harnessed the design and marketing potential of eCards and sophisticated eCards are hard to find, aside of Jacqui Lawson’s personal greetings story line eCard designs and Blue Mountain who also have a selection of artists creating their cards. We have since begun to receive requests for bespoke designs mostly for Businesses, which these and most other eCard sites do not provide and so have included this service to eCard Studio.
Inspiration and fulfilment All of the artists at Out There Design/ eCard studio find the greetings card canvas a great outlet for their artistic inspirations, with the messages providing great graphics design subject matter that can be expressed in many different ways.
